Hi there, nice to meet you! I'm Madison, a former aspiring country music singer turned entrepreneur. After pursuing a Music Business degree at Belmont University in Nashville and working in the music industry, I realized that corporate life wasn't for me. Inspired by my father's entrepreneurial spirit as a farmer and my grandmother’s career as a “hairdresser”, I embarked on a journey into the beauty industry.

 

Following a stint as a contestant for the Miss Tennessee pageant, I transitioned into the beauty business as a pageant hair & makeup artist.In 2015, I left my corporate job in entertainment to become a full-time entrepreneur, also launching MHD Cosmetics in August the same year. I initially worked as a freelance mobile artist, and then eventually opened my first studio in 2017.

 

Fast forward to March 2023, I proudly opened the MHD Beauty Parlor in Nashville's Berry Hill neighborhood. This endeavor fulfills my dream of being a CEO, operating a stylish beauty space, nurturing a talented team, and becoming a vital part of a thriving community. And, while that is now my salon home, I am also deeply passionate about exploring Nashville and the world doing what I love.
